BPC 157 is a penta decapeptide composed of 15 amino acids. This is a partial sequence of a body protective compound (BPC) that was discovered and isolated from human gastric juice. Studies on animals have shown that it accelerates the healing of a wide variety of wounds, including muscles, tendons and damaged ligaments. Additionally, BPC 157 has been shown to protect organs and help prevent stomach ulcers. BPC-157 works systemically in the gastrointestinal tract to combat leaky gut, IBS, gastrointestinal cramps and Leśniowski- Crohn's disease. This peptide is known to have analgesic properties. Research has shown its ability to accelerate the healing of skin burns by increasing blood flow to damaged tissues.
